How to print on tissue paper
If you’re looking to make fancy invitations or decorate for a party, a quick tutorial from this video YouTube will give you all the information you need before being able to print on tissue paper in your own home. Before starting, the only supplies you’ll need are a piece of plain paper, a little bit of tape, a pair of scissors, a printer and your choice of tissue paper. First, take your piece of tissue paper and piece of plain paper and line them up on top of one another so there is approximately an inch of tissue paper on either side of the plain.
Now, begin to fold the tissue paper over the plain paper, making sure that the glossy side of the tissue paper is facing inwards. As you fold each side, make sure to tape the tissue paper securely to the plain paper. Be sure that no tissue paper is sticking out on the corners, or the paper may jam while printing.
Now, you should have a piece of tissue media securely taped around the sheet of plain paper. Once you have this, you’re ready to print on the tissue paper! Place the tissue and plain paper combination in the input slot as you would for any normal print job. Press print and watch the entire printing process to make sure it goes smoothly and doesn’t jam. Little bits of tissue paper are very hard to remove from a printer, so it’s important you double check the document and watch it as it prints.
It may take a few tries to perfect the process, but eventually you should be able to print on tissue paper as easily as on plain media. Once the finished result comes out, you can cut or fold it however you desire, making sure to remove the plain media still taped to the tissue.
