Do Your Part and Participate in Toner Cartridge Recycling
It is everyones responsibility to protect our environment. It can be easy to overlook ways in which we are damaging it, such as not participating in a toner cartridge recycling program. If we want to ensure the future of our children and their children, we must make changes now in order to really protect our planet from further abuse. By vowing to reuse, reduce, and recycle we are promising to do our part.
If you are not participating in a toner cartridge recycling program, you should be. These bulky cartridges will sit for the next decade decomposing in our landfills. Imagine how many spent cartridges have been carelessly throw away and now are left sitting to rot in a landfill taking up copious amounts of space. Imagine how many of these cartridges a large office building such as the Willis Tower can generate in one year. Hundreds of pounds of waste.
Participating in a recycling program is going to require some effort on your part, effort that is well spent if it means that you can save our planet from hundreds of thousands of pounds of waste from being dumped into our landfills every year. You need to find a program that makes it easy for you to recycle your used cartridges and you need to start telling as many people as you can about the program in order to make a significant impact.
By already performing the homework on these programs you are taking the hard part out and making it easier for others to participate. You can even volunteer to send other peoples cartridges in with your own if they cant find the time to sign up. By vowing to do your part in protecting our environment, you may have to go out of your way a little bit to make a big difference but it is an effort that is extremely worthwhile.
